Coagulant Chemical Manufacturer | Water Treatment Chemicals Supplier in India

Industrial water and wastewater treatment requires efficient removal of suspended solids, color, turbidity, oil, grease, and organic contaminants. At Micro Polymer Industries, we manufacture and supply high-performance Coagulant Chemicals designed to improve clarification, reduce sludge volume, enhance settling, and optimize overall treatment plant performance.

Our coagulants are formulated to deliver fast coagulation, stable floc formation, and excellent clarification across a wide range of industrial and municipal water treatment applications.

Whether you operate an ETP, STP, WTP, RO Plant, ZLD Plant, Cooling Tower, or Process Water System, our coagulants help achieve reliable treatment efficiency while reducing operating costs.

What is a Coagulant Chemical?

A Coagulant Chemical is a water treatment chemical used to destabilize fine suspended particles, colloids, emulsified oils, and color-causing impurities present in water and wastewater.

These particles carry negative electrical charges that prevent them from settling naturally. Coagulants neutralize these charges, allowing particles to combine into larger flocs that can easily settle or be removed through sedimentation, flotation, or filtration.

Coagulants are generally used before Polyelectrolytes (Flocculants) to achieve maximum treatment efficiency.

How Coagulant Works

Step 1 – Charge Neutralization

Neutralizes negatively charged suspended particles.

Step 2 – Micro Floc Formation

Tiny particles begin combining together.

Step 3 – Floc Growth

Polyelectrolyte helps form larger and stronger flocs.

Step 4 – Sedimentation

Heavy flocs settle rapidly.

Step 5 – Clear Water

Clean water moves to filtration or discharge.

Frequently asked questions

Coagulants neutralize charged particles, allowing suspended solids and impurities to aggregate into flocs that settle quickly, resulting in clearer water.

Yes. They are highly effective for reducing color, especially in textile, dyeing, paper, and chemical industry wastewater when the appropriate coagulant is selected.

No. A coagulant destabilizes fine particles by neutralizing their charge, while a flocculant (polyelectrolyte) links those particles into larger flocs for easier separation.

Yes. The ideal dosage depends on pH, turbidity, TSS, COD, wastewater composition, and other process conditions. Jar testing is recommended to determine the optimum dose.

Textile, paper, sugar, food, dairy, pharmaceutical, chemical, mining, municipal, ceramic, power, steel, and many other industries rely on coagulants for effective water and wastewater treatment.
